dave looks like you had a good fishing trip out of new jersey. That's a nice Pollock how many trips do you go bottom fishing in the winter. What other species do you catch in the winter down their.

I would like to get out at least 2 or 3 times over the winter but things didn't work out that way this year. This was my first trip out for cod, pollock, haddock and ling. This pollock definitely made my trip because it was the only keeper I caught all day and my first fish on after about 4 hours. The best winter trip we took out of New Jersey was for large sea bass, ling and porgy but since sea bass are illegal to catch now the trip was cancelled for winter 2010.
