Dillon Lake is a rural 1,330-acre lake that has surprising numbers of channel catfish, largemouth bass, and saugeye.
Piedmont Lake is a clear, 2,270-acre lake with a 10-horsepower motor limit. It has some of Ohio’s biggest muskies and owns the state mark for that species. Walleye schools are thinning, whereas saugeye are on the upswing. The good largemouth and smallmouth bass fishing is one of the lake’s big secrets. In summer, plenty of channel catfish are caught after the sun goes down.
Salt Fork Lake was known for largemouth and smallmouth bass, but the spotlight has turned to muskies. Walleye and channel catfish are available in good to outstanding numbers.
Seneca Lake has been a mainstay for channel catfish and largemouth bass, and anglers often hook a few walleye on this 3,550-acre lake. Striped bass are a rare treat.
