Structure Fishing

In the broadest sense, structure is any object that provides shelter or feeding opportunity to gamefish; this term is especially used by bass anglers in freshwater and covers a wide array of natural and man-made objects where bass are caught. In coastal waters, a structure is a man-made object, primarily a gas or oil rig or platform, which tends to concentrate species much like a natural or artificial reef (see).
