The fishing has been fantastic on the Gunnison River.  Pheasant tails and small may flies nymphs have been doing very well dropped below a larger dry fly.  In the Black Canyon It Hopper fishing time!  The banks are full of large grasshoppers and the fish are keying in on them.  I still drop a fly below the hopper such as a prince nymph or a smaller may fly nymph.

I began fly fishing when I was ten years old, progressing on as a guide in Alaska and Colorado at the age of 19. Since then I have acquired several licenses and requirements to further my experience and ability to ensure the safest guiding adventures.
