Its official the tautog have arrived in the waters south of Cape Cod. I went out yesterday and caught a half-a-dozen tautog. One fish from my judgement was around 8lbs. This is a very early start compared to prior years. These fish will be arriving in large numbers very quickly, and within a week the bite should be hot. Book your charter now, these are awesome trips and are priced very well. These fish put up a tremendous battle trying to run into the rocks in an effort to free themselves from the line.
