Florida's Big Bend coast offers some of the finest sight-fishing opportunities in the world for tarpon, redfish, cobia, seatrout, pompano and many other species. I have been fishing and guiding in these waters for 25 years, and a trip on my Fin-esse, a 20' Bayshore flats skiff, is sure to be your sight-fishing experience of a lifetime, whether you enjoy light-tackle spin or fly fishing.  I can trailer my boat anywhere from the historic village of Saint Marks south of Tallahassee to the crystalline waters of Saint Joseph Bay to the west. That means I can meet my customers where it's convenient for them and where we'll find giant tarpon, rambunctious redfish or trophy seatrout. 

I enjoy taking any level of angler out for a day of fishing. I am happy to teach the novice or guide the seasoned veterans. I am easy-going by nature and emphasize having fun, first and foremost. At the end of the day my goal is for you to leave the dock with lasting memories of a quality experience. 

I am fully licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard and insured. My party size is limited to two anglers to maximize the experience, provide the most casting room and minimize the draft of my skiff.  

I usually arrange full or half day trips, and departure times are usually early morning or early afternoon.

My boat is the Fin-esse, a custom 20-foot Bayshore flats skiff equipped with all the safety and navigational equipment necessary for a comfortable trip. Fin-esse has a huge casting deck and draws just 9 inches of water, which makes it a perfect flats boat.

I provide all the equipment for my guests to have a terrific day on the water. For light tackle, I have Shimano rods and reels, and for fly fishing it's G. Loomis rods and Tibor reels. In addition, I use DOA lures, AquaDream spoons and Hall 'Em In wooden lures. I also supply rain gear, if needed.

 All applicable Florida fishing licenses are included with my charter.
