I don't know many anglers that are neutral about carp. Some love catching them.
Acclaimed fly fishing author John Gierach compared them to bonefish for the selective nature and fighting ability. But some people hate them.
The guys in this video, posted on Singlebarbed.com, are definitely on the latter end of the spectrum. They hate carp so much they put on costumes, grabbed swords, and water-skied around the Mississippi River near Peoria, Ill., scaring carp out of the water and slicing them to bits mid-air.
We can't imagine this is legal, we don't advocate you try it, but yes, we watched it three times.
