Anglers know Oregon's Columbia Gorge well. It has some of the state's best sturgeon, salmon and steelhead fishing.
These kayakers know the gorge a little too well.
Teenage kayakers went down the 120-foot Bridal Veil Falls in Oregon’s Colombia Gorge. 19-year-old Althea Sullivan took the second half of the falls without any injury. After she survived the falls, her two friends, both brothers, were brave enough to do it too.
The result: one broken back and one broken nose. Instead of calling 911 first, they called the boy’s father who told them to call 911 right away.
