Scientist Aim to Find out How Tournament Fishing is Affecting Lake Champlain

Scientist Aim to Find out How Tournament Fishing is Affecting Lake Champlain by GoFISHn TeamHow do largemouth bass  tournaments held on New York and Vermont's Lake Champlain affect the bass populations in the lake?

That's the question scientists are trying to answer, according to Vermont's WCAX.com.

Researchers at Plattsburgh State Univsersity plan to tag fish caught in tournaments to see if they survive and how they respond to the catch and release. They hope to have some results by the spring of 2013.

Stay tuned. –Rick Bach
