From British Columbia’s Skeena River, a 60-pound Chinook

From British Columbia's Skeena River, a 60-pound Chinook by GoFISHn TeamFrom British Columbia's Skeena River, we found this tale of a monster chinook salmon.

Jay Kennedy reports that he was trolling a plug with guide Gordon Mckean of West Coast Fishing Adventures. The fish fell just a half-inch short of 50 inches and took 20 minutes to land.

He released the fish, and called the catch one of his most rewarding moments as an angler, according to the Sonoma County Gazette.  - Rick Bach
