Video Game Features Asian Carp Invasion

Video Game Features Asian Carp Invasion by GoFISHn TeamIt seems like in the past year, all we've been hearing about is invasive Asian carp. They're turning up everywhere and fisheries managers are trying everything from shocking them to eating them to stop their spread.

Now, you can even have virtual fun with Asian carp.

A new video game online from the Entertainment Technology Center allows you to "be" an Asian carp.

You can out-compete native species like perch, jump and hit boaters. As the game progresses your role changes and you're charged with stopping their spread.

The whole point is to teach people about the dangers of their spread, but it's easy to forget that once you start playing, which you can do here. – Rick Bach
