Sportsman Industry Leader Ray Murski Dies at 72 by GoFISHn TeamThe fishing wold says goodbye to legendary Texas fishing and goods industry legend Ray Murski.

The 72-year-old sportsman died after sustaining injuries in an auto accident this past Monday, Dec. 19.

Ray led the Murski-Breeding Manufacturer's Representative Group, owned Strike King Lure Co. (a GoFISHn member), was inducted into the Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame in 2005, and received the T. Boone Pickens Lifetime Sportsman Award in 2011.

Murski said in 2001: "We've got to take care of the blue-collar hunter. If all we have left who can afford to hunt is a small bunch of rich people, it's over." We say goodbye to Ray and keep his family in your prayers. -Robert Frawley
