Utility Company Fined for the Fourth Time for Polluting Lake and Killing Fish in England

Utility Company Fined for the Fourth Time for Polluting Lake and Killing Fish in England by GoFISHn TeamFor the fourth time in seven years, the Severn Trent Water company has been fined for polluting the water of Heapham fishing lake in Gainsborough, England.
Last April, hundreds of fish died in the lake when a blockage in a "fowl sewer was not cleared for more than a week," according to ThisisLincolnshire.com

The company was fined 24,000 pounds for ignoring the blockage which lead to the death of 360 carp, bream, tench and pike.

The company has also agreed to pay for restocking the lake. Here's hoping that they don't do this for the fifth time. –Brian McClintock
