Two Anglers Land Boat-Sized Marlin in New Zealand

Two Anglers Land Boat-Sized Marlin in New Zealand by GoFISHn TeamUsing a 12-foot boat and a 15-horsepower motor, Hayden Stokell and Nathan Richardson landed a 192-plus-pound striped marlin off the coast of New Plymouth, New Zealand.
Stokell and Richardson were trolling with the only game rod they had and the only lure they had when the spotted the marlin. The marlin slammed their lure and the battle ensued. Instead of a tug-of-war, the men turned off their motor, and let the marlin pull them around, according the Taranaki Daily News.–Brian McClintock
