Yellow Perch Caught in Idaho Ties the Record

Yellow Perch Caught in Idaho Ties the Record by GoFISHn TeamIt's been a tough year for ice anglers, but Bob Shindelar used some thick ice on Lake Cascade to land a massive yellow perch that ties the Idaho state record.
According to The Spokesman-Review, Shindelar landed his 16-inch, 2.6-pound perch on February 11. According to the original report from the Idaho Statesman, the Idaho Fish and Game has recognized the fish as a tie with a 15.5-inch fish caught by Jerry Hamblin in 1976.
