We've told you about the sturgeon spearing season on Lake Winnebago in Wisconsin, and another monster has been harpooned through the ice.
Mikey Galligan of Oshkosh, Wisc., was on the frozen lake when he made a true shot at the 175.3-pound, 78.5-inch female sturgeon. According to Madison.com, "the fish currently holds the honor of being the sixth largest fish by weight on record since the fishery began on Lake Winnebago in 1932."
It's the second biggest sturgeon speared this season, as Chris Haedt hauled in a 179.8-pounder earlier in February. –Brian McClintock
