Play Whac-A-Mussel at the BASSMaster Classic and Stop Invasive Species

Play Whac-A-Mussel at the BASSMaster Classic and Stop Invasive Species by GoFISHn TeamThere are a lot of campaigns to stop invasive species, but have we tried just hitting them with a padded mallet?
That's what Recycled Fish, along with a host of other partners, are hoping to do at the BASSMaster Classic as they bring a conservation twist to the arcade classic Whac-a-Mole with Whac-a-Mussel. Mussel caricatures pop-up through the holes, and you pound them back into place with your mallet. The lead scorer will win a pair of Patagonia’s new aluminum bar Rock Grip Wading Boots and the lead youth scorer will take home an autographed shirt from FishHound.

According to the release on RecycledFish.com, "National Invasive Species Awareness Week kicks off Feb 26, and the Classic serves as the the “pre-party.” There, Recycled Fish is also launching its new 1 Million Stewards program. After playing the game, visitors can take the Sportsman’s Stewardship Pledge and receive a special Stewardship Kit."

The BASSMaster Classic takes place in Shreveport, La. from February 24 to the 26.
