There have been a lot of weird things brought up in nets, like dead, 1-ton great white sharks, but this one would be even scarier.
The crew on the Rebekah Jayne alerted authorities when they found a torpedo in their fishing nets off the coast of Troon in Ayrshire, Scotland. The device is reportedly 10 to 12-feet long, startled the crew who got advice from the Coastguard on what to do with the torpedo. That advice: throw it back overboard and mark it with a buoy.
The Royal Navy then went to the area and blew up the device on the seabed. –Brian McClintock
