Rare 1,200-Plus Blue Marlin Landed in Bermuda: Must-See Video

When blue marlin get over 1,200 pounds, they’ve learned enough to become pretty elusive, which makes the video of this 1,289-pound blue marlin caught in Bermuda this past week pretty impressive.

According to Saltwater Sportsman, the fish was caught on May 30, and here’s footage of the official weigh-in. Alan Card was captaining the Seafari when he caught the largest blue marlin he’d ever seen in his life. Unfortunately, the fish died during the battle. The largest marlin reported from Bermuda waters is a fish of 1,352 pounds caught in 1995.- Rick Bach
