Man Gets Tape Measure Tattoo for Legal Barramundi, Too Short

Don’t get us wrong, we can be lazy. But too lazy to carry a tape measure to make sure your fish is of legal size? We haven’t reached that pinnacle yet.

One man in Australia decided it would be cool to have a tattoo on his leg that was exactly the height off the ground that a legal barramundi needs to be (55 centimeters, roughly 21 inches). Which could be handy while on the boat, just hold a fish up to your leg and see if it’s legit. One problem though, the tattoo artist put the tattoo 10 centimeters too low, according to NT News.

When he went back to the parlor to get the error corrected and said “You’re 10 centimeters short,” the tattoo artists replied by saying, “I’ve had a couple of women tell me that.” Luckily this problem was one he could fix. Apparently Evan Slocum is not the first person to get the “Brag tat,” as it’s known, it’s a trend that’s catching on. We’re guessing he’s the first to have two though. – Rick Bach
