Record Roosterfish Landed in Baja California?

Reports are surfacing that a potential record roosterfish has been landed in Baja California.

Sportfishing Magazine, reporting on a Bloody Decks update, is saying that this 101-pound, 2-ounce rooster may take down the International Game Fish Association’s record for 20-pound test.

Jack Kautz was fishing with Ramon Almanza’s super panga, Los Amigos, when he landed the monster while trolling live mullet 100 yards from the beach in front of the Punta Arena Lighthouse on Baja’s East Cape. We’ll let you know if this record stands up. –Brian McClintock
