Here’s something we hope we never experience, seeing a great white shark up close, without some bullet-proof glass or bars in-between us and them. One spearfisherman diving out of Fort Pierce Inlet in Florida had that experience, and we’re happy he is in one piece to tell about it. He says he made his way for the boat in a hurry, and we can’t blame him. He said he kept his spear pointed at the shark, but we doubt that would have done much good. - Rick Bach
