Attached are some photos from a couple of fishing trips this week (July 12-14). We have had extremely clean water and the bait and fish have been staying close to the beach. The Kingfish, Sharks and Jacks have been thick around the bait pods. The Tarpon have been traveling up the beach and have been hard to pin down. The Snook&big Reds are starting to show up at the jetty, now we just have to get the croakers to show their face again so we can get the Snook & Reds to eat.
I have had a great group of families the last few weeks and the kids have been great to fish with (Parents also). The kids have all been very enthusiastic on the boat and I have been focusing my efforts on getting them get involved in more than just the fishing part. We talk a lot about the prep work involved and the tactics, tackle and baits that we use. The kids and adults seem to really enjoy more than just catching fish.
