Spotted Bear Ranch, Orvis Endorsed Fly Fishing Lodge and three time recipient of the Orvis Expedition of the Year award, is located deep in the rugged mountains of Northwest Montana. This adventurous outpost sits quietly on a bluff overlooking the South Fork of the Flathead River, one of the most secluded and pristine rivers in the world and one of the last strongholds for native westslope cutthroat trout. The South Fork pours clean and cold straight out of the immense, unspoiled Bob Marshall Wilderness area.
Spotted Bear Ranch features a rustic lodge, comfortable private guest cabins, fresh cuisine, and the hospitality for which Montana is renowned. Enjoy spectacular scenery, solitude, and fantastic dry fly action on a variety of rivers and streams. Season is from mid-June through September. In addition to lodge based fly fishing trips, Spotted Bear Ranch offers six day pack and float fly fishing expeditions in the Bob Marshall Wilderness.
